CORE INSTRUCTOR COURSE – STEP 1 IN BECOMING AN ACLS, BLS, FIRST AID AND PALS INSTRUCTOR
The Core Instructor course is the first component of three in the process of becoming an ACLS, BLS, First Aid or PALS Instructor through the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
PREREQUISITES
The Core Instructor Course is offered in partnership with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. There are no prerequisites.
MANDATORY RESOURCES
Their are no mandatory resources required to attend the course. Handouts will be available in class.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The 1-day course combines dynamic individual and group exercises to build core skills necessary to successfully facilitate an emergency care course. Key principles, core criteria for successful learning experiences and the Heart and Stroke support matrix are all addressed in this program.
PRECOURSE PREPARATION
Before attending the Core Instructor course, review the course materials including the instructor kits of the instructor specialty you plan to attend. Expect the course to be worth the time spent, serving as an important foundation to boost your impact as an emergency care instructor.
